Fabian has over two decades of experience in complex immigration matters. After graduating from Haverford College with a degree in English in 1999, Fabian attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and earned his J.D. in 2002. After graduating from Temple, he worked for a small criminal defense, civil, and family law practice for four years. While there he started that firm's immigration practice and then opened his own office in 2006 in Philadelphia.
Fabian focuses his practice on family-based immigration petitions, including consular processing, adjustment of status, and asylum cases. Fabian’s extensive trial and criminal law experience allows him to combine his knowledge of criminal and immigration law in his handling of complicated deportation matters. Fabian is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey but can handle immigration matters in any state. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the New Jersey Supreme Court, the Bar Association of the Third Federal Circuit, the Eastern District of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and the New Jersey Federal Bar. He is fluent in Portuguese and conversational in Spanish. When not lawyering, Fabian enjoys spending time with his family, coaching lacrosse, and playing it recreationally.
Lauren Wyatt recently joined Lima & Wyatt from a large nonprofit immigration services agency, where she managed several programs dedicated to assisting unrepresented immigrants in New York state. In these programs, she oversaw large free application assistance workshops, Know-Your-Rights presentations, legal screenings, court services, and pro bono case placements for unrepresented immigrants in removal proceedings. In addition, she provided direct representation to families before the Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, Court of Appeals, USCIS, and New York family courts. She also recruited and trained volunteers to provide free legal information and assistance to low-income immigrants. Finally, she supervised several attorneys and paralegals in their caseloads, and mentored external pro bono volunteer attorneys in representing clients before the Immigration Court.
Previously, Lauren was a Program Associate at the Vera Institute of Justice, working on the Legal Orientation Program for detained immigrants. Before moving to New York City, Lauren was an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Fellow at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington. At Catholic Charities DC, she represented unaccompanied children in immigration and state court proceedings, as well as before USCIS. She also trained and mentored pro bono attorneys to represent clients in immigration and family court cases.
Lauren is licensed to practice in New York and Maryland, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She can practice immigration law throughout the United States. She earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2014, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.
